The mission was named Apollo 11 and was settled by the NASA. The organization of this mission began on the 20th of July in 1969. It was the first time when humans landed safely on the Moon. This occasion is considered to be a victory for both the United States and the whole of mankind. Neil Armstrong belonged to one of the crew members. He was not only the captain of the mission but also a Lunar Module pilot.
As for the design, this coin is a unique Moonlanding coin. It is plated in Rhodium. On the coin, we can see the 3D-casted Moon with topographic details in relief according to NASA images and embedded real Moonrock NWA 7959 that was placed at the landing-place Mare Tranquillitatis of the Eagle.
