The obverse of the Madonna coin bears the Coat of Arms of the Principality of Andorra. Skillfully depicted below, there is the upper part of the Renaissance column decorated with artist palettes on both sides. At the top of the obverse, there is the inscription indicating the name of the issuing country, the face value of the coin and the issuing year.
The gorgeous reverse features the full-color copy of the world renowned masterpiece painted for English lord Cowper during Florence period when the main content of Raphael’s creative work was the light lyrical theme of maternal love.
