Cambodia

Located in the southern part of the Indochina Peninsula in southeast Asia, the Kingdom of Cambodia has an area of about 181,305 square kilometres. The country borders Thailand and Laos on the north and Vietnam on the east and south. The name is derived from the word kambu-ja, meaning those born of Kambu (a figure of Indian mythology), which was first used to refer to the people of Cambodia in the 10th century. As home of the Khmer culture, Cambodia remains one of the most important and exotic countries in South East Asia.

The main drivers of the economy are agriculture, garment industry and tourism. Cambodia is also known to issue beautiful commemorative coins.
