France

Known the world over for its cuisine, fashion, culture and language, France is also one of Europe’s largest countries. It is bordered by six countries: Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg to the northeast, Switzerland and Italy to the southeast and Spain to the southwest. The landscape is diverse, with mountains in the east and south, including the Alpine peak of Mont Blanc (4 810 m), which is western Europe's highest point.

The most important sectors of France’s economy are public administration, defence, education, human health and social work activities, wholesale and retail trade, transport, accommodation and food services and industry. The country is also known to issue beautiful commemorative coins.
