Issued as part of the Giant Windows of Heaven series by Cook Islands, this set consists of three gorgeous silver coins - 3x3 oz in total. The coins measure 40x100 mm each and boast a unique decoration – huge colored windows replicating those in Cologne Cathedral, Germany. Struck from .999 pure silver in proof-like quality, the set has got the extremely limited mintage – only 500 pieces worldwide.

Apart from the colored window insert, the obverse of each coin contains a small effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II. Traditionally, the portrait is surrounded by the following inscriptions: the Queen’s name, the face value of the coin and its issuing country. The issuing year is indicated at the top of the obverse.

The reverse features the Adoration Window of 1848, the Magi Window of 1330 and the Magi Window of 1507. They embellish Cologne Cathedral known as one of the largest churches in the world and the second highest building in Cologne after the telecommunications tower. The Cathedral is notable for its large stained glass windows, which cover an area of about 10,000 sq meters allowing floods of natural light to enter the building.
