This is a new series of stunning silver coins dedicated to animals and birds that hunt at night. The first issue features a beautiful image of a nocturnal owl, a nocturnal bird of prey found in most regions of Earth except Antarctica. The coin is made of 3 oz silver 999 BU, partly platinum plated and colored. With the mintage of only 999 pieces worldwide, each coin comes housed in a luxury box with a CoA inside.

Represented on the obverse, there is the State Emblem of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire. The upper part of the coin comprises the inscription indicating the name of the issuing country. At the bottom of the obverse, there is the legend denoting the face value of the coin.

An owl flying through the night forest is represented on the reverse in true-to-life colors and contrast. Owls are extremely good at stalking their prey, patiently waiting for the right time to swoop down and get them. They can get prey that is in the water, on land, and in some circumstances even under ground. With their powerful talons they are able to pick up food and continue in flight.
