This astonishing coin is created in honour of the 35th Anniversary of the first issuance of a Silver Panda coin by the People’s Republic of China that was celebrated in 2018. It is a one-of-kind silver proof coin that weighs 1000g!

In the centre of the coin, there is the Yin & Yang sign in enamel. In order to highlight this special anniversary, the designer added special mint marks to the reverse of the coin. All around there are 35 images of pandas that evoke some of the many issues from the Bank of China over the last four decades. Each of them has bamboo shoots seemingly reaching out to the yin-yang. The diameter of the coin is only 180mm. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the image of Coat of Arms. The mintage is limited to 500 pieces for global distribution.
