The next titanium inlay features the first man in space Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin who launched into orbit on 12 April 1961. He was aboard Vostok 3KA-3 (Vostok-1) and after returning back to the Earth he proudly began to carry the title «The Hero of the Soviet Union».

The third titanium inlay portrays the first woman in space Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova, who left Earth on 16 June 1963 aboard Vostok 6. Until now she remains the only woman to have undertaken a solo mission to space that lasted 3 days.

And the last titanium inlay contains the depiction of the first man on the Moon – the astronaut Neil Armstrong. He stepped from the Apollo 11 lunar lander onto the surface of the Moon on July 20, 1969.
