The obverse design features selected scenes depicting various cartoon characters. Above the image, there is a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The upper part of the obverse contains the inscriptions denoting the Queen’s name and the coin’s face value. The name of the issuing country and the coin’s mintage year are indicated below the image.
The pad printed image of Tweety is the centerpiece of the coin reverse. Sylvester the Cat, known for its unsuccessful attempts to capture Tweety, is depicted in the background. Also referred to as Tweety Pie or Tweety Bird, this sweet and innocent-looking baby canary always outsmarts his opponent.
