The Estacado Meteorite is a large and weathered chondritic meteorite that was found near the Estacado Quaker settlement in Hale County, Texas, in 1883. It weighs 290 kg. It is currently the 8th most massive member of the H group of ordinary chondrites. Two major portions of the meteorite were obtained by the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago and the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
