The third issue of an excellent Shade of Enigma series is an exclusive version of a well-known silver bullion coin by Isle of Man depicting Archangel Michael slaying the dragon. Struck from 1 oz silver .999 BU, the coin is a unique combination of black and gold: it’s plated with black ruthenium and 24K gold! The issue limit is 2 000 pieces.
The reverse displays the Archangel Michael using his shield to block the dragon's flaming breath as he uses his spear to slay the dragon. One of the most powerful and respected figures in many religious teachings, he’s mostly depicted as a warrior dressed in ancient, almost Roman attire, and armed with a sword. His name stands for "Who is like God?" and, like all Angels, he is able to embody the pure form of God's energy.
To achieve the unusual black surface of the coin, it was coated with silver-gray ruthenium, one of the platinum metals that looks like platinum but is rarer. The coin comes housed in a black luxury box accompanied by a numbered CoA with a special hologram on it.
