The coin “Dirkhem” represents the ancient numismatic rarity found during archeological excavations on the territory of Kazakhstan. These ancient silver coins date back to 16th century (Otrar city).
The obverse design features the embossed image of silver coin “Dirkhem ". Around the image there are the inscriptions of the coin’s face value the coin’s mintage year. There are also the inscriptions “Republic Of Kazakhstan” both in Kazakh and English separated by dots.
The reverse side of the coin features the embossed image of the reverse side of the ancient Dirkhem. Around the image there are the legends “Dirkhem” both in Kazakh and English, the National Bank of Kazakhstan logo. There are also the legends “Ag 925 31.1 gr” indicating the designation of metal, its fineness and the coin’s pure weight, two elements of national ornamental pattern and the legends “XVI c.” indicating the century of the ancient coin’s circulation. The lateral surface of the coin is smooth without corrugation and inscriptions.
