This amazing plateau minted silver coin is created in honor of the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower's travel to Plymouth Rock with pilgrim fathers.
The Mayflower was an English ship that transported the first English Puritans, known today as the Pilgrims, from Plymouth, England to the New World in 1620. There were 102 passengers, and the crew is estimated to have been about 30, but the exact number is unknown. It was a very significant event, that is why the creators called this coin “Mayflower A Journey to the New World”.
The reverse of the coin contains a beautiful and colored image of the famous Mayflower ship. The obverse of the coin represents a map with a ship and the journey of the Pilgrims from Plymouth to Cape Cod. The middle of the obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On one side of the obverse, there is an inscription: “PILGRIM QUARCENTENARY”. This inscription is engraved here to celebrate the Anniversary of the Pilgrims.
The coin has an incredible convex design, has a wonderful coloration and plateau minted proof with frosted surfaces. The mintage is limited to 2020 pieces for global distribution!
