This coin is very extraordinary. It belongs to the famous series called “Micropuzzle Treasures”. Amazing micro puzzle art is used here to show the beautiful painting created by Belarusian modern impressionist painter Leonid Afremov – “Couple Under One Umbrella”. This painter has a distinctly unique visual style.
The reverse of the coin depicts a young couple under an umbrella, walking in the rain. Afremov added street lamps on either side of the road to add a little more romance to the picture. The coin features several varieties of beautiful and harmonious colours and is struck with many puzzle pieces in exceptionally high relief. It is done to reproduce and immerse oneself in the extraordinary beauty of this piece of miniature puzzle art. The obverse of the coin contains the Coat of Arms of Palau, surrounded by a beautiful decorative micro puzzle pattern. Each coin is individually numbered on the edge.
